Scenario Heatmap Survey Results

Welcome to the Liberty Hill 2030 Heatmap Survey Data Visualization.  This platform provides access to the data gathered from community members and stakeholders that attended the Liberty Hill Think-Tank as well as the Liberty Hill Collective Session and the Liberty Hill Realtors session. Those who took part in the Think-Tank made up 50% of the responses in this survey, followed by those who took part in the Collective Session at 28.6% and those who took part in the Realtors Session at 21.4%.

On the chart, there are filters on the right-hand side. These filters allow you to explore responses by different cohorts within the community respondents. This visualization is intended to allow you to explore the data set and see what community members and stakeholders think about the expected, preferred, and least desirable futures for Liberty Hill, looking out to 2030. Please note that the chart is loading a lot of information, so it may take a moment to load when opened.

The chart below shows the responses to the future scenario questions in the Heatmap Survey. This chart represents all responses for the Expected, Preferred, and Least Desirable Futures. These can be selected in the filter on the right-hand side (at the bottom of the filter chart). The scenario matrix is further explained in the Think-Tank Report. The chart is structured as follows:

X axis is Community Identity

Y axis is Growth Stewardship

Key things to note:

  • The Least Desirable future was firmly based in Scenario D – Big City, No Heart. The bottom left-hand side of this quadrant had the most responses regarding this being the least desirable future for Liberty Hill in 2030.
  • The size of the circle denotes the amount of responses. The larger the circle, the more responses.
  • The Preferred future falls primarily within the Scenario B Shaping Tomorrow; Honoring Today.
  • The Expected future location is more muted, with respondents considering all quadrants as possible Expected futures.
  • This data can be filtered by the session that the respondent attended.
